I have had the privilege of discovering a website that has provided me assistance with keeping my stress level down to a new all-time low, and I am eager to share this with you. Did you come online in search of a way to earn extra income as so many others have? Are you looking for the right opportunity to help you to overcome your financial status and to possibly even replace your full time job?
In this post I want to share something I learned through experience. I’ve been online for close to four years now and recently found myself reflecting on how many different programs and ideas I had tried out in the first few years.
When I first started my search, I became overwhelmed at all the offers there were posted everywhere I turned. They all sounded so good that I would jump in and start working the programs and promoting them immediately.
Some of them had practical approaches but most of them were full of hype, vague promises, and more hype. It didn’t take me long to realize this but even knowing that I had basically formed a habit of joining everything until I didn’t have the time to promote them all.
If this sounds like you then I have some very simple advice for you…….
STOP! BREAK THE HABIT! Go through those programs and weed them out by really looking at each one again. Get rid of the ones that are doing you no good. It’s vital that you whittle them down to a handful at most; at least for when you are still just getting starting.
Here is a small list of what I felt to be of the most important questions I asked myself for each program I was in. The questions helped me to determine which programs I should keep and what to toss out.
- Is this program still online and active?
*Many new programs start up with a fury and fizzle out just as quickly.
- Is there a solid system in place that I can grow with, learn from, and profit with here?
*Is the income opportunity offered worthwhile? Are they supportive? Trustworthy?
- Does this program provide what they promised?
*Are the initial salespage promises and/or claims that were made true?
- Is this company, website, or program conducive to the overall goals I have?
*Is this website/program a candidate for a reliable stream of income?
*Am I learning anything valuable from this membership?
*What type of reviews have been written about this website?
Asking myself these questions about each and every program I had joined helped me to make good decisions whether to keep the membership or not. I also realized how important it was to remember another crucial lesson I had learned:
I should be asking myself those questions before signing up, not afterward!
I hope this post helps you to avoid having your foot into too many programs because doing it this way actually holds a person back from focusing on the truly important points of internet marketing.

Multi-Tasking Vs Memory
Multitasking came easy for me and I was able to do many different tasks at the same time, and rather successfully I might add. It’s something I got used do doing as a medical records secretary & medical transcriptionist, college student, wife, and mother.
That was many years ago and until recently I continued to do a lot of multitasking out of habit. About five years ago though, I started noticing that I was walking away and leaving some of my tasks unfinished.
The longer a person continues to multitask in the same type of pattern they’ve had for years, the harder it may be for them to notice something’s wrong. When the end results start becoming less and less favorable, it’s time to make adjustments.
NOTE: If you are thinking, “What’s this got to do with me? I do fine!”, you may be very correct, and hopefully you won’t experience any difficulties. Adapting to the subtle changes going on within your multitasking abilities comes easier to some than others.
Changing habits after many years can be very difficult and frustrating as any smoker that tries to quit can attest to. It can be just as hard when changing work habits and patterns of completing daily tasks.
Realizing and coming to terms with life changes such as memory loss is important in order to make a smooth changeover to a less demanding schedule. New habits of writing important tasks down and looking at those notes each day will help a lot.
Understanding that I am unable to take on as many projects or tasks at any one time took awhile for me to get used to, and the use of to-do lists has helped me tremendously as soon as I got it through my head that I had to look at them daily for them to work!
If normal tasks that’ve always been done on a daily basis start lacking in timeliness and are noticed by others first, the questioning of your abilities may come up and can become damaging.
Once I realized my memory was not going to magically come back, I knew I had to come up with a good solid plan to keep me from defeating my own purpose online. Actually what I’ve come up with works for online and offline and are not hard to implement.
First, I got a tablet I keep by my bed and now it’s the first thing I see when I sit up after awakening. On the front of it says MY TO-DO’S & MUST-DO’S FOR TODAY and I take it with me into the kitchen to look at as I have that first cup of coffee.
It will always have my notes I wrote down of where I left off with what I was doing online the night before and what I need to do first thing today. I’ve also started to add to that list some of the things I run across occasionally that I’d forgotten about and fix them.
All the changes I’ve had to make due to the condition of my memory have been difficult but obtainable for me with self-discipline and consistency. My tasks fit my abilities better and I have more realistic goals now with less tasks to “multi” with at one time.
A rule of thumb I started using when trying to get used to multitasking less at one time was to take on one less than I thought I could handle. I did this because I still assume I can do more than I should so doing one less makes it just about right for me 
.

When Family Steps In
I love it when any of my adult children show interest in what I’m doing online and love it even more when they ask to see it. This happened when my youngest daughter visited last weekend and looked at me and asked if I had found what I was looking for.
She was referring to a program or product that I could earn money with and that had the potential of growing and eventually replacing my current income. I grinned at her and told her yes I did find what I was looking for.
So I showed Amber the program I call my main home business and how it worked. She spent some time watching the videos and reading all about it and took her time to think it out. She finally said that she would love to join.
Even she could afford the small monthly fee of $10.95 and was ready to sign up when I surprised her by paying for her first month’s membership when she joined. She’s my daughter, what can I say?
Amber is excited and I am too, because in the short time I’ve been a member I’ve already received a small payment and can see that I will earn even more next payday and Amber saw that too. She has her own account now and will study it intensely to know it first because that is just how she is.
I really do love it when family steps in and says hey, I can see how that works and I want to be a part of it with you. What better person to actively build toward our personal goals with but my awesome daughter!
She understood immediately that this is not a get rich quick scheme or any of those and in fact after studying the program she called it “very realistic and doable”. She is a cautious optimist and I believe it to be one of her special traits.
I look forward to helping her to learn the basics while I continue to learn new and important skills to better myself and my business. Amber will be starting her own blog soon and I look forward to watching both our businesses grow!

Supply & Demand?
There are a few basic steps a new online business owner should take before settling on what their business will be offering. It all has to do with Supply & Demand. These are questions you should ask yourself to be sure your choice is a realistic choice.
1. Is there an online demand for what I am offering?
2. Is there either an overwhelming amount or a very low amount of suppliers for this product or information?
Supply and demand are two very important issues that go hand in hand and it’s very important that this is put at the top of your researching efforts. Doing research on the products or services you want to offer and profit from is vital and can discern whether your business is headed for success or any early demise.
It is essential that there is not an over-abundance of suppliers offering what you have or it could be extremely difficult to compete with this. The demand you are looking for is the ratio between how plentiful the supply of the product is compared to the amount of people actually wanting the product- the demand.
Once it has been confirmed that there is a sufficient amount of demand for the product and with not too many other suppliers it is important to continue with the research. Now that it’s known the product is being sought after its also important to be sure the prices and quality are competitive and desirable.
So before your idea goes from the dream state to an active and realistic goal for you, be sure to do the research verifying that the business concept and the plan chosen are both viable and realistic for you.
